Shareen is the only AfroLatina Interior Designer in Harlem, NYC. She is also the only interior designer specializing in growing women-owned businesses. She has been in the design world for over 12 years working in Fashion, Graphics and Interior Design.

Shareen is an award-winning designer with awards in Customer Service Excellence and Best in Class support for new organizations and start-up organizations.

Nicknamed ‘Green’ for her sustainable living and eco-friendly conscious approach, Shareen is knowledgeable about and involved in every aspect of remodeling from space planning, furniture selection to project management with contractors and color consultations.

Shareen works with successful female professionals designing from scratch or remodeling their home office, newly leased or purchased spaces for her clients such as CEO’s, CFO’s, Entertainers, Doctors, Attorney’s, Entrepreneurs, Real Estate Agents and various Business Owners in the New York City area.

Working with Shareen unlocks access to her team of architects, plumbers, electricians, and window treatment experts. This is not limited to a nationwide providers of furniture, fixtures and equipment for your project.

She received her Design Certification from the New York Institute of Art + Design, Bachelors of Science in Business and also minored in Accounting at New York University. She has a unique mix of business savvy and creative thinking to manage projects for her clients.

She saves her clients money, solve their design problems and relieves them of some tensions as she carefully reviews all of the details to work through challenges and produce a functional, high-quality end result. Shareen lives in New York City with her husband and daughter. She runs Green Shareen Design, the Interior Design firm that is licensed, insured, and a Minority Woman in Business Certified Enterprise.
