Marisa Flores Gladden’s style of event management is both sleek and precise and creative and bold. She has appropriately come to be known as the “Event Ninja” delivering results with strategic insights, candor and grace under pressure. As owner and chief planner of The Event Ninjas, Marisa brings her passion for connecting people and showcasing brands.

Prior to opening The Event Ninjas, Marisa’s professional experience spanned from government to Fortune 500 companies including the Department of Small Business Services, Columbia University, UnitedHealthcare, and Time Inc. In those roles, Marisa honed her skills in project management, design and solving problems for complex organizations.

Marisa’s body of work in the events industry is as long and diverse as her clientele. She dreams big with her clients and provides the strategy and logistics to deliver flawless events. From turning a Williamsburg warehouse into a wedding venue to Governor’s Island into a beach club, she brings her contagious creative energy and consistently delivers results.

Featured in consumer and trade publications such as The Knot, Brides, USA Today Travel, House Beautiful, BizBash and industry blogs, Marisa has become a thought leader in planning and productivity. She is a proud alumna of Fiorello H. Laguardia High School of Music & Art. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Media Studies from Fordham University and a Master’s in Strategic Communications from Columbia University.

Marisa lives in the heart of Bedstuy, Brooklyn with her husband Kenny. As a former Girl Scout, she gives back to the community by hosting special events and supporting fundraising efforts. In her spare time, she enjoys labor-intensive home organization projects and planning Disney adventures.
