Malla Haridat is an award winning entrepreneur, author and founder of the New Designs for Life Training Company. Whether she’s training social and business entrepreneurs how to run successful enterprises that educate, empower and support others as CEO of New Designs for Life Training; helping underengaged corporate employees tap into the power of intrapreneurship; or coaching women to become more independent, Malla cat- alyzes transformation.

Malla has been recognized by the Mayor of New York City for her work as a mentor to entrepreneurs.

She has won the NYC Small Business Award for entrepreneurship innovation and a Ci- tation of Merit from the Bronx Borough President’s Office.

The New York Times did a full-page article on her work and said “Malla Haridat gets people thinking like an entrepreneur.”

Malla Haridat has spoken many events including Fast Company, Inc, Black Enterprise, Fuel and has been featured in media including ABC, New York Times, Fox, Huffington Post and other publications.

Malla has a degree from Columbia University and is the former Vice President of College Relations for the New York chapter of the National Board of African-American HR pro- fessionals.
